Bear Activity: Hidden Lake Trail at Glacier NP

Glacier National Park officials have closed a section of the Hidden Lake Trail due to bear activity. The 1.2-mile stretch from Hidden Lake Overlook to Hidden Lake is currently off-limits, and access to Hidden Lake is restricted. A video of a bear on the trail was shared by a viewer last Friday. The Cracker Lake Trail also has a closure between Cracker Flats Loop and Cracker Lake due to bear activity, and a bear warning is posted for the Ptarmigan Falls Trail. The reopening of these trails is yet to be determined. Stay updated on trail status through the provided link.
