Epic Dinosaur Track Recently Discovered at Texas State Park!

Amidst Texas experiencing unprecedented summer heat and an expanding drought causing water levels to decline, a team of dedicated volunteers stumbled upon something rather remarkable: fresh, colossal dinosaur tracks, thought to hail from approximately 110 million years ago at Dinosaur Valley State Park. One of the sections of tracks named the “Lone Ranger Track,” is believed to be one of the longest dinosaur tracks in the world!

Dinosaur Valley State Park in Texas

Dinosaur Valley State Park is a place where you can step back in time and discover the world of dinosaurs. It’s a special park where you can see real footprints left by dinosaurs millions of years ago. You can see their tracks in the riverbed, like a time machine to when dinosaurs roamed.

Apart from dino tracks, the park has cool rivers for swimming and fishing. You can walk or hike on trails surrounded by trees. Don’t forget to bring a picnic – there are nice spots to relax and eat. If you like camping, you can sleep under the stars. There are campsites with fire rings for marshmallow roasting.

Kids will love the Junior Ranger Program, where they can learn cool stuff and earn badges. And if you’re into horseback riding, you can bring your horse and ride on the trails.
